Carole Aloha Hope, M. ECE (Masters in Early Childhood Education)
Carole was born and raised in Kailua. She enjoys being a part of the Kailua community and shares the love of the ocean, marine life (especially Kailua's honus, turtles) and oceans sports including swimming, surfing and windsurfing with her beautiful daughter, Shauna Kaleo and her partner Mark Kamuela. Carole has been an educator of early childhood and elementary children for eighteen years. Carole has instructed teachers at Chaminade University and the University of Hawaii, Manoa.
Carole's education background includes: a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Chaminade University; a Professional Diploma in Elementary Education from University of Hawaii; a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from College of Notre Dame, Belmont, CA; a Music Therapy Certification from Emmanuel College, Boston, MA.; a Brain Gym Certification from Kinesiology of Hawaii; Hula instruction experience for over twenty years; and extensive training as a Yoga Instructor with the Yoga School of Kailua.
Come and enjoy Carole's gentle aloha spirit and relaxed ohana (family) style of yoga instruction. As symbols of appreciation Carole gifts her students with fragrant plumeria flowers, beautiful ocean caressed shells or shore rocks. Bring your swimsuit and a towel (during summer months) for 15 minutes of yoga in the pool for the last part of class. Carole creates an enjoyable yoga learning experience for you and your family integrating healing and education.
